945 Bloor Street West, Toronto
Comedy Bar, a staple of Toronto's comedy scene and home to some of Toronto's greatest shows is also neighbours with some fantastic food, whether you're looking for some of the city's best Indian food, or some cheap eats.
COMEDY BAR FOOD
Comedy Bar has a solid menu of classic bar food. We recommend the pierogies!
796 Bloor St. W
Possibly (well, definitely) the west end's best indian restaurant. Try the palak paneer, packed with puréed spinach. It's hard to make paneer taste luxurious and they pull it off. They also have rich kormas, great lamb dishes, and some of the city's best naan. They know that all good naan is one part crispy, one part tender, and just the right amount of chew. Check it out.
ALBION PIZZA SHWARMA
1030 Bloor St. W
Fast foodish, amazing prices, and a generous portion. Try the Chicken Shwarma Pizza! Check it out.
969 Bloor St. W
Solid Ethiopian food. Get the beef tibs or their reliable vegetarian platter which can usually feed two people. It's usually busy, so go down a few blocks to Lalibela if there's a wait. Both places will do you right. Check it out.
